The black man

I woke up this morning feeling like I need to do this
This is neither a hate speech, nor is it a diss
I just manna talk about mankind and how we live
Especially the black man and his believe
A black man thinks he can’t rise to the top
Without bringing another man down
And when he is finally at the top
He cuts the ladder down
And what’s the impact of this on his society
It has left to nothing but calamity
Chaos and disunity
His brothers and sisters move around with hatred in their heart
Piling up distrust like the groceries in a cart
He sits there at the top feeling unconcerned
The pain of his people, he doesn’t understand
Black man, oh black man
Amend your ways
For limited are your days
Let love lead you always
Breathe love, speak love
Let love be the clothes you wear
Let love be the food you eat.
Let love lead your way
And you shall see, that love is the only way.
